Wish you were here is the first single from the album Morning View from 2001 by the hit band Incubus.
Brandon Boyd said that the song isn’t about a person but about himself acknowledging a moment in his life and about his experience with all the people which made the record. In that specific moment he wished that he had somebody to go “I love you, man”, wishing that he had somebody so share this moment with.
This is the official music video Love hurts from Incubus. Love Hurts is the third Europe and fourth US single from the album Light Grenades.
Here is what Brandon Boyd’s has to say about “Love Hurts”:
“It’s almost a little bit of a cliché. It is talking about the idea of love and find love and having it be purity and having it not be tainted by your misperceptions, misconceptions, expectations and transcending the sort of more worldly aspects of the love experience.”
Enimen aka Marshall Bruce Mathers III is known as either Eminem or Slim Shady. He is an American rapper, actor and record producer. Eminem won a Grammy Aways for the Best Rap Album in 1999 with his debut album The Slim Shady LP.
Lead vocalist Axl Rose wrote “Sweet Child o’ Mine” together with guitarist Slash and Mikey Wiseman during a brainstorming session after a New Year’s party. The song talks about Rose’s girlfriend and later wife Erin Everly.
